Who Is Robert Weissbein?

You can find information about Steven Weissbein (CRD# 1089065) through two databases which are available online and accessible by the public – the FINRA Central Registration Depository (CRD) and Investment Adviser Registration Depository (IARD). Based on his FINRA BrokerCheck Report and his IARD Public Disclosure Report:

Mr. Weissbein has worked in the financial services industry since 1983. Over the course of his career, he has been registered with FINRA through several firms, at least one of which has been expelled by FINRA.  Since 2007, he has been registered with the following firms:

  • Newbridge Securities Corporation (2007-2013)
  • Capital Guardian, LLC– (2012-2014) – expelled by FINRA
  • First Allied Securities, Inc. (2014- Present)

Mr. Weissbein has been registered with First Allied in Davie, Florida since 2014.

FINRA Brokercheck records reflect three financial disclosures (in 2010, 2011 and 2013) and a customer dispute from 2017 that remains pending as of May 2019. 

What is the Customer Disputes Reported on Mr. Weissbein’s FINRA Brokercheck?

In June 2017, there appears on FINRA Brokercheck to be a customer dispute involving allegations of unsuitable investments, failure to disclose risks, breach of fiduciary duty, failure to supervise, breach of contract and misrepresentation.  Mr. Weissbein denied all allegations.

Mr. Weissbein appears to remain registered by First Allied in Davie, Florida.
