  1. Paul Falcon, a financial consultant registered with Aegis Capital Corporation in Boca Raton, Florida, and previously registered with Global Strategic Investments, LLC, appears to be the subject of one or more customer complaints related to allegations that may have involved unsuitable investment recommendations, unauthorized trading, and/or excessive transactions.   2. Alonza Barnett, of Greensboro, North Carolina, was barred by FINRA over an alleged failure to respond to requests for information. Barnett was previously registered with Ameritas Investment Corp. and Barnett is believed to have had one or more customer complaints possibly alleging breach of fiduciary duty, conversion, and/or other impropriety possibly related to private securities transactions. Nadav Baum, a financial consultant who was registered with Janney Montgomery Scott, LLC in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and previously registered with BPU Investment Management, Inc. is the subject of multiple customer complaints or regulatory issues, some of which include allegations that may have involved unsuitable investment recommendations. In March 2017, it is believed that the New Jersey Bureau of Securities sanctioned Baum alleging a failure to comply with terms of a supervisory agreement. It is also believed that in or about 2009, FINRA alleged Baum was involved in discretionary trading without authorization in customer accounts, and he may have been fined and/or suspended at that time. A class action case was filed in the United States District Court in the Southern District of New York against online brokerage firm, Interactive Brokers, LLC, on behalf of investors who had held certain portfolio margin accounts. The Complaint appears to allege that the firm violated FINRA rules and terms of the customer agreements.   9. The SEC charged Florida penny stock operators with defrauding elderly investors. Two individuals were charged in connection with a penny stock scheme involving Florida entertainment companies and their  Spongebuddy  product. Joseph A. Rubbo and Angela Beckcom Rubbo Monaco, both of Coral Springs, Florida were charged. The offerings involved included VIP TV, LLC, and VIP Television, Inc. as well as The Spongebuddy, LLC. The U.S. Attorney in Colorado has also filed a parallel set of criminal charges as well.
